Role of Intense Heat From Volcanoes Needs Consideration in Climate Change/Global Warming

I’m starting to call these things “heat polluters” when it comes to climate change. They certainly contaminate the temperature record. I don’t think scientists consider the heat they produce in the historical temperature record and in climate models.

While it’s good to consider the pollution effects of ash plumes, etc., the effect of the heat they emit should not be neglected. Consider that an anomaly of 20 degrees for one day can throw off one month’s “mean” (average) big time – so what does the heat from voluminous amounts of 2000degreeF. lava do? One thing I know for certain: there is no way a 2,000 degree lava flow doesn’t have an effect on the purported “global temperature”.

Fissure 8 is just one volcanic eruption of many that are currently happening. They absolutely must take “heat pollution” or “heat emissions” from volcanoes into consideration when looking at climate change/global warming. There is no way that our 3-4% contribution to CO2 causes enough warming to make a difference when we have these ongoing 2,000degree lava flows.
